Grease Veggie Burgers
When you crave something a little less healthy. Bun appetit! Serves one.
Ingredients
- 2 italian bread rolls (the best thing since sliced bread!)
- 2 veggie burgers (e.g Beyond Meat) - meat your new favorite burger!
- 2 eggs (they really help things pan out)
- 4 slices of cheese (to make things gouda!)
- Tomato Ketchup (catch up if you can!)
- Mayonaise (try homemade) - mayo day be blessed with this sauce
- Tomato (you say tomato, I say let’s eat!)
- Lettuce (leaf room for dessert)
- Salt and Pepper
- olive oil
- butter (butter late than never!)
Steps
- Slice the tomato and place on the side for later - this is a slice of life moment!
- Pour a little olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the veggie burgers as per instructions on package. Once you’ve flipped them (don’t flip out!), you can put the cheese on the burger to let it melt a little. Place on a plate once done.
- Put a dollop of butter in the pan. Fry the eggs to you liking - don’t be chicken about flipping them! Best to flip them but keep the yolk a little soft. Place on the burger on the cheese.
- Cut the italian rolls in half and drizzle a little olive oil on the newly open ends. Place in the pan for a minute - they’re on a roll now!
- Place the buns on a plate, put a little tomato ketchup on one end and a little mayonaise on the other end. If you’re putting tomato slices on, do that now. Place the burger patty (with cheese and egg on top). If you are adding lettuce put it on now. Close by placing the top half of the bun and enjoy! That’s all, folks - no more bunny business!
