Tofu with Broccoli, Green Beans and Sesame Seeds. It’s got greens and proteins. What more do you need?

Ingredients

  • tofu (I’ve discovered so brands are sturdier than others, but also smoked tofu is easiest.)
  • broccoli
  • green beans
  • sesame seeds
  • sesame oil (for frying)

Steps

  1. The trick with tofu is to let it dry out a bit before cooking it.
  2. Pour a good deal of oil into the pan and fry the tofu on a high heat until a bit crispy
  3. Boil or steam the broccoli and beans, but not too long so they stay a bit crunchy
  4. Throw the broccoli, beans and seasame seeds in with the tofu for another minute
  5. Serve in bowl
